  • :(

    Dear Xanga,

You and I have been together for a while. At times, we were inseparable, at other times, we didn't see each other for a while.

I was in denial about this day ever coming but I think that it's time for us to go our separate ways. You started to change; things that were once simple and easy to find disappeared into your fancy new design. While you've prettied up a lot, I'll admit, you're also becoming more and more of a stranger.

Please understand that the time has just come. It had come.

Farewell, and I wish you a happy existence.

    Love,
    Moon

(I'll still be checking other people's xangas, however... so I won't abandon you completely!)

  • A great plague and wedding bells

Selena wrote an entry about this and it is true-- many, many people getting engaged and hookin' up. ;) And some even getting married in the next two months!

My grandma once told me that in life, everyone goes through certain periods when everyone goes to college, when you're going to a lot of graduation ceremonies, when you go to a lot of weddings, when you go to a lot of baby showers... and then said that at her age, she's going to a lot of funerals. It's a reality of life, she said.

Right now is definitely that period in life when I'm starting to go to weddings. I'm sure that two years down the line, I'll be going to a lot of weddings but right now is when that period in my life is starting. It's very exciting to see people starting to date, then people getting engaged, then people getting married... then baby showers! Hahaha. :)

I'm so thankful that God gives us joys like this to celebrate with other people. And an apartmentmate to tease. ;D

    www.moonj.wordpress.com

I do have another wordpress (www.moonchoi.wordpress.com) but my moonj wordpress is my writing one. I don't have a lot of updates-- just one snippet and then a really short story that probably needs a lot of revising but I haven't gotten around to it 'cause I'm not too interested in revising it anymore. Writing it was more of a drag than it was fun though the theme is about something really serious. I have another story very similar to it in terms of theme but it's written in a style that I enjoy a lot more. It's pretty obvious, I think, when someone wrote something in a forced fashion. The story just sounds disinterested.

I should have a little bit more time next quarter (I hope!) so I'll try to get around to writing. I'm not used to writing things with Christian themes for some reason. It's probably because I'm so used to writing about really dark things because that's when my interest in writing really blossomed (words were often my only source of solace-- I wasn't saved then!). I'm trying to break the habit by writing about other things but somehow, my writing just shifts back to what I'm used to writing about.

Anyway, check it out! :D I don't update too frequently but I really, really am looking to change that. \@_@/!
